De Boer Advies & Notariaat is a young and dynamic notary practice

Notary mr. Pieter B. de Boer opened the office under the name Notariskantoor De Boer on 1 September 2003 and has already built up an excellent reputation in its short existence.

Pieter B. de Boer started his notary practice on 1 September 2003 under the name Notariskantoor De Boer and soon built up an excellent reputation. Since 2016, the legal practice has operated under the name De Boer Advies & Notariaat. After the office’s initial start-up phase and the 2007-2008 financial crisis, it was clear that there was a growing need for notarial services that go further than just drawing up legal documentation. As a result, De Boer Advies & Notariaat added mediation and advisory services to its offering.

We are always working to be as green as possible. Deeds are now executed digitally in most cases, which reduces paper use and is much better for the environment.

We are active in all areas of notarial law and are able to mediate and act impartially in divorces – including ‘fast-track’ divorces – and deadlocked estates.

For both Dutch and overseas banks, we are a major sparring partner when it comes to compulsory management, compulsory confiscation and BOG foreclosure auctions.

We are your partner for businesses too. In addition to the familiar tasks of setting up a private limited company (Dutch: BV), association or foundation and organising share transfers, we can also advise on and arrange varying types of re-organisation within an existing private limited company and/or family business.

We have years of experience in dividing flat cooperatives into apartment rights, including properties in Amsterdam that are subject to a ground lease. We can also ensure that privately-owned leaseholds are once again eligible for financing, meaning that your privately-owned leasehold apartment is saleable again. This is a huge weight off anyone’s shoulders, especially if you have inherited such a property.

In addition to its extensive business network, our office maintains excellent relationships with companies operating in the legal, accountancy and brokerage sectors.
